Cart Path Rule

CART PATH RULE - there are two scenarios. 

 

1. If ball comes to rest on a cart path (paved or gravel) or the path interferes with your stance.

• Relief can be taken one club length from the nearest point of relief.

 

        2. Cart path nearest point of relief is ESA or out of bounds

• Relief can be taken in the general area at a point no closer to the hole, one club length from the nearest point of relief.

 

SPECIAL NOTE: 

If the cart path is in a penalty area, free relief cannot be taken.
